What is CPD?

SHRI plays a key role in the continuous education and training of healthcare professionals. As an accredited National Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Provider by the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka, we are committed to elevating professional standards and improving healthcare delivery.

Continuous Medical Education (CME) Programmes Since 2021, SHRI has been organizing CME programmes tailored for Medical Officers. Our flagship initiative includes weekly online CME webinars held every Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. To date, we have conducted over 250 uninterrupted sessions, benefiting more than 1000 Medical Officers across various specialties throughout the country. This series the first of its kind in Sri Lanka has garnered highly positive feedback from both participants and expert lecturers, including national and international professionals.

  • Be a registered medical practitioner in Sri Lanka (Intern, Medical Officer, Registrar, Senior Registrar, or Consultant) or any other health care worker or a medical student
  • Be currently engaged in clinical practice (public or private sector)
